Credence and Sidebar to open Summer, 2024

Houston, Texas – (September 14, 2023) – Memorial City will soon be home to two new concepts from acclaimed restaurateur Levi Goode. The man behind Goode Co. Barbecue, Goode Co. Seafood, Goode Co. Taqueria, and more is branching out with two new restaurants debuting at The Lawn, Memorial City’s popular greenspace. The 28,000 square-feet gathering spot has quickly become West Houston’s favorite hub for cultural events, festivals, concerts, art installations, and activities of all sizes.

The main restaurant, Credence, is inspired by a lifetime layering of flavors and influences that point intimately to people, places, memories, and rituals that run deep through Goode’s family and heritage. From cracklins to caviar to pan de campo, Credence’s menu features genteel club classics with a playful Texas twist—an emphasis on sparkling-fresh seafood, wood-fire cooking, and indigenous ingredients that
celebrate the regional South. Credence is Goode’s inaugural solo restaurant concept. While the restaurateur’s previous concepts are part of his Goode Company Restaurants brand, Credence marks the beginning of a parallel brand, Levi Goode.

Next door to Credence and also debuting under the new Levi Goode brand is Sidebar. Nestled in this busy pocket of Memorial City, Sidebar offers an under-the-radar retreat from the bustle of its surroundings. Sidebar is the alchemy of Levi Goode authenticity and speakeasy sensuality, offering an exclusive— but not elitist—drinking and dining experience. Decidedly rooted in effortless glamour, understated nostalgia, and soulful swagger, Sidebar invites discerning Houstonians to cozy up in its moody alcoves. The two projects will open side by side at 9757 Katy Freeway. Both will be set within the
